Tested black color strings on hard courts in summer. Some movement of mains but not excessive. Crosses were firmly notched in place almost immediately. These strings offer a surprising amount of spin and comfort for a relatively low cost. They seem to grip the ball well as noted from the amount of fuzz left on the strings. Black color fades to gray on center of frame after about an hour of hitting. So far strings have lasted 4 hours with no noticable drop in tension or signs of excessive wear. Great performance for the price.
Update to above post. Broke main #5 on hard struck service return at 4.5 hours in a league match. Perhaps not the most durable string for returning heavy serves. A very comfortable string, however, for practice recreational hitting. Also, very easy to string with. |

I tested the black version.
No problems during stringing.
I was surprised by the good playing characteristics of this string. Very good control and it did provide feel. I would not have expected that. Definitely worth a test. |
