Compared to the WeissCannon Explosiv!:
Much better spin, durability, control, tension stability.
A bit harder on the arm, but still OK.
This is a severely underrated string!
Newer is not necessarily better!
WeissCannon Explosiv! has zero spin potential and loses tension faster than a bankster loses credibility, especially when wet. It also costs approx. twice as much as the Dunlop M-Fil Tour which is a steal at the price it is sold at. Even with 18 x 20 I can generate lots of spin. |

| Compared to the venerable (should I write "old"?) Dunlop M-Fil Tour, this string does provide much more power and feel. But since I can provide both of those myself, I found the Explosiv! lacking in: spin, control and especially tension stability. This seems more like an older senior's string as it is very kind to the arm. But forget using it outdoors in case of any moist! |
