As in my previous test, once again awesome color! I love the colors that SuperString makes, gives some fashion to the racket :) My first impression was Pro Hurricane Tour, concave solid crisp structure. Stringing was very easy and lots of fun due to the color, don't know why. It's a thin string so it was easy to weave through the crosses. But need to be careful as you don't want to micro damage the concave structure. I did a one piece job as I do on all my rackets.
Played indoors with Wilson Australian Open balls.
2 hours of play: No tension drop so far. I was really happy with the string. It played like the Pro Hurricane Tour with great power, and better feel. Great spin generated, you really rip the ball and ball fur flies around on topsin serves (ok, I played with new balls) :). The feel and control is normal.
8 hours of play: String movement is minimal but makes me wonder how long this string can last as the concave structure can wear down and cross friction. Not sure how string breakers like this. Power is good and enjoyed hitting on baseline. Serving and topspin is really good, so much fun. Control is average and feel is good as always.
Conclusion: Overall great string and congrats to SuperString again. It's definitely a rival to the Pro Hurricane Tour I think. You can play it on its own or use a hybrid with some gut. |

First impression, awesome color! And when I took it out of the package, I thought of my Pro Hurricane 18 right away. Same feel but the SuperString is a little more "greasy".
Stringing was very easy. The slick surface and being a thin string made it easy to weave through the crosses. I did a one piece job.
Played during summer on hard court with Wilson Australian Open balls.
After 4 hours of play: Not sure if I will get a tension drop, still early to comment on. I was really happy with the string though. It played like Luxilon with great power, but with a worse feel due to its stiffness. Tremendous spin generated. You can really rip the ball and bite the ball. The feel and control is great. Let's see what the coming days tell me.
After 8 hours: The string really kicked in. String movement is close to nothing cause the strings really lock in. Not sure if string breakers can snap this string, personally I don't have this problem. Power is great but still missing on the feel part. The string makes a non appealing noise on impact. Control is average. You can really kick serve with this string. Rip the ball on spin and you can see floss flying around :) Loved it. But beware for the elbow people. It's a stiff string and you might want to string it a little bit lower than usual.
Conclusion: Big thumbs up. An alternative to Luxilon Alu Power and definitely a copy to Pro Hurricane. Must try. Like to know availability and prices. |

| Well to start off the Luxilon is a 17 and the SuperString is an 18 gauge. I definetly like the SuperString and would prefer it over the Luxilon if it is cheaper as well. They play very similar and being a thinner string is a plus. If you're a string breaker then you probably need to use the Luxilon. Durability is the same for both for me. |

| Great String. I used the 16 gauge and it gave me arm problems also because I strung way to high @ 27 kg. I got this string in 18g and strung @ 24/25 kg and it played great. Good power and great spin because of it being a poly. Tension holds up well and lasts me long even though it's an 18g. |

| Nice string but I think I will go back to my Babolat Pro Hurricane 17 because I get a more solid and crisp feel. The hybrid is good because the gut softens up the strong impact. But on the otherhand it takes away the spin which I usually got from a solid string like the Pro Hurricane or a Luxilon. So if you have arm problems or moving towards a poly you should try it. Be careful while stringing the gut. The poly can rip the surface when going through the crosses, otherwise stringing wasn't a problem for me. |

| The Rough version definetly has the 'rough' feel to it. Better grip on the ball, but if you are not a spin player don't get it. It won't improve your game, you have to put the effort into your shot to generate extra spin. This string will not help you play spin, it will generate more spin. Again this string gave me arm problems. I don't know what it is with Luxilon, I love the string but had to switch to Pro Hurricane to ease on my arm. If you are pro and agile to play this string then it's the only string to get. |

I tried this string since Luxilon gave me elbow problems which I never had before. Pro Hurricane is a softer string with similar conditions if you are a spin player. It feels weird at the beginning but once getting used to, it's great. I would advice this string for players who had problems with Luxilon but want something similar.
I will try the Tour version next time. |

| This string is amazing, but gave me arm problems after playing a few days. Definetly the pro choice string, lots of power and control. If you like a little more spin and grip then go for the rough version. Apart from that it's the string to get! |

| POWER!!! Loved the string, great power, great feel and control. The sweetspot is a little less but when you hit right you can feel the ball and bang right away. No aches whatsoever. No shift in string patterns. I am not sure why there are talks about stringing 10% lower. I play at 59lbs so I strung at 55lbs. Next time I will use my usual tension. Spin? Very poor. My next test will be the Rough or Spin version. Hopefully this way I can grip the ball a bit better. |

| This string is a simple overall Nylon string. I used it for general training and find it very easy to play with. Control, power and feel are average and never harm the arm or elbow. It's a good intermediate string for players who don't enter tournaments and just like to play recreationally. The string at first seems very stiff and hard but after a few balls the string finds its place and feels just right. This is not a string for players who like topspin or play tournaments. |

First impressions:
First few seconds I thought it's an Alu Power, then I realised it's black and monofilament, interesting :). Greasy and stiff. Easy to kink. Wire like feel. Drew attention due to black design, looks cool but takes time getting used to.
Stringing:
I strung it one piece. Easy to string due to greasy surface. Gives comfort on crosses. Didn't break and is a solid wire like string. Overall straight forward stringing.
Court Play day 1: (2 hours singles play - Indoor Hardcourt - Wilson US Open balls - Temp 15°C)
Nice spin on serves in general as the surface of the string is greasy and the strings shift. But lack of control and power unfortunately. I had to realign the strings after each game despite the high tension. Let's see what happens on the following days.
Court Play day 2: (2 hours singles play - Indoor Hardcourt - Roland Garros Racing balls - Temp 14°C)
Despite playing with hard balls I found the string more controllable. I like watching the ball when I use kick serve. Even though the surface seems greasy, due to the wire-like tough structure I can produce nice spin. No pain in the arm or difficulties.
Court Play day 3: (2 hours singles play - Outdoor Hardcourt - Roland Garros Racing Balls - Temp 18°C)
Still can't generate the usual power I get in my Gamma strings. This time I didn't have to adjust the strings as much as on day 1. I think that's because the string was new on day one and believe the string plays better once it has settled. Spin shots are nice and controllable as previously. The string seems durable and didn't break (yet :)). To be honest, the string didn't excite me that much. But others might like the string as they keep playing with it.
Conclusion:
The string overall seems to be 'good' but there are some aspects such as control and power which it lacks. I would expect from a poly mono to have power but I didn't get it. The string has a good bite on the ball as it is a 1.25. At first the string shifted as the surface was greasy but after 4 hours of play I could actually see some notches, but this is also a sign that the string can break early. I am interested to find out the name of the string and the manufacturer ;) |
