Compared to the Signum Pro Plasma HEXtreme 1.25 a bit better touch, but less tension stability. Spin is significantly improved compared to round polys. This also improves depth control for me. Of course this only applies to players with a spin-oriented game. If you hit flat and have the necessary touch to control the depth of your shots, you don't need a textured string.
IMHO there is also a significant difference between the Pure version and the standard version (orange). The Pure version is a bit more flexible and provides better touch and power and a bit less control (given the same tension). The difference equals about 2 lbs tension difference with my setup. |

The string looks very similar to the Cyber Flash and plays very similar too. Only difference I could detect was a slightly better durability and a tad better comfort. But with both strings I didn't have any problems. Honestly I don't believe I would be able to distinguish between these two strings in a blind test.
More significant was the difference to the Big Hitter Blue, which provides much better control, spin, and tension stability. |

During stringing, the string had a strong recoil memory and lots of friction when pulling the crosses. That may be the reason for the string's quick tension loss during play. Maybe this problem could be solved by slightly pre-stretching the string next time.
Test conditions: hot and humid, 26°C, clay, outdoors, Wilson Tour Club balls.
Measurements with my Mini-STT:
After stringing: 23
24 hours later: 22
After 1 hour of play: 19 (!)
After 2 hours of play: 19
The string broke on a backhand return after 3.5 hours of play. |

| The Extreme Turbo Stiff excels in the spin department through its rough surface. Round polys like SPPP, MSV Co-Focus, Topspin Cyber Flash, Tourna Poly Big Hitter etc.) cannot compete. Even the hexagonal strings from Signum Pro and MSV don't provide the same amount of spin. However those strings provide better control on flat strokes. With the Extreme Turbo Stiff my shots scattered more. Nevertheless the string would be very interesting if it didn't lose so much tension in such a short time. Maybe that's due to the rough surface. It lost 1 kp within 24 hours of rest after stringing, and 3 (!) additional kp after the first hour of play. Spin potential is maintained longer compared to hexagonal strings, so depth control is still good after 2 hours of play. I also noticed increased string movement compared to SPPP and Big Hitter. |

| The string stretched extremely during stringing. I've never experienced a stretch like that. On my drop weight machine, it took almost one total revolution of the drum until the pull was reached. |

Played on rebound ace and on clay, both indoors. On clay I felt much more comfortable with this string.

| I did not find too much of a difference between these strings. The normal Poly Plasma felt a bit softer and more powerful (I used the 1.18 mm version previously). Spin potential was definitely better with the HEXtreme. |
