Normal stringing behavior, strung in one piece.
Played on clay court at 24°C.
The string provided a nice feel and good control even on fast strokes. I hardly noticed any tension loss. Some strings provide better spin potential but still that's not a downside of this string.
A downside, however, is the low power compared to other polys. Also it is quite expensive, only affordable if you buy a reel. |

Normal stringing behavior. Played indoors. After the first few hits I thought "wow not bad". Feel was good, control, power, and tension stability were very good. Unfortunately I cannot rate durability.
Great string - only downside is the relatively high price. |

Easy to string. Played outdoors on clay.
The string provided lots of power, and initially I lacked control. But after a while when I had adapted to outdoor play it felt better. Control was very good, with nice feel and comfort. Spin was very good due to the string's shape. Unfortunately it did not last long, but no surprise considering the thin gauge.
I'll definitely have to string the 1.25 mm version a bit higher.
Definitely worth a test. |

I instantly noticed the good feel provided by the string. I was able to hit precise drop shots. Very good balance of power and control. This could become my new standard string. Definitely worth a test. |

I noticed that the string does not provide as much feel as the MSV Co-Focus. The Hyperion is more control oriented and has less power.

Easy to string.
Initially the string was scattering a lot. I did not have any control and power was only present when I hit exactly in the center of the stringbed. Slightly off-center hits did not have any power. Feel was okay but nothing special. The string notched very quickly.
I'm not happy with this string. Maybe the thicker version plays better. |

The stringbed was quite stiff after stringing, so I did not have a great feel. On the other hand, control was a bit better. From my point of view you should definitely string the Plasma Pure at a lower tension.

The string bed feels very rough, so it provides very good spin potential.

Durability could have been better.

Right after stringing, the string feels quite stiff, but quickly loses some tension. After the initial tension loss, the tension maintenance is good.
Power was okay, control too, but I wished for more feel.
Spin potential was good but not as good as other textured strings.
When the strings started to move, they didn't feel as great and broke soon.
Overall a good string. |

The first thing I noticed with this string was the low power, which however was still good compared to other strings. Feel was not really good, a bit dull. That dull feel got better with time, so it could have been due to the stringing tension. What I really liked were control and spin. Control was great, slice shots could be placed very well, but also heavy strokes worked well. Spin potential was good but not as good as with other textured strings.
Overall a good string but not my new favorite. Maybe I'll test another gauge of this string. |
