Great feedback as with most of the Solinco strings I've tried so far (Revolution, Tour Bite, Outlast). You can really sense the ball in the stringbed. Feedback is not soft at all, but not stiff either - it is best described as "direct".
Durability was amazing. I played the first 5 hours on clay, the rest on carpet. Lasting a total of 11 hours, the Revolution is one of the most durable strings I've tried so far. Which is not necessarily positive - after approx. 8 hours the strings felt tired and dead. There was less pop and I was about to cut it out, but I wanted to see how long it would last. After 11 hours it finally broke.
Spin was great and the profile does not wear too quickly. Control was perfect, but at the price of low power. I did not have any arm problems.
Quite solid string overall, with excellent durability and control. I never thought I'd say this one day but this string lasted almost too long for me. |

No problems during stringing.
Great string! Very good spin potential, but stiff feedback (which I did not mind at all though). Excellent control. Can't get any more precise than that! I did not have any arm problems. No string movement except the third cross string from the top.
Great string, highly recommendable! |

I tried the 1.15 mm version first and liked it a lot. But the 1.25 mm version was just incredible! Maybe I just played very good tennis lately, but I felt that the string fit perfectly to my racquet (Head YouTek Prestige MP) and my game (aggressive, baseline, spin). It felt like the string was tailored to my game.
Compared to the 1.15 mm version, the Tour Bite 1.25 felt more "solid". I had more feedback from the ball compared to the thinner gauge. Great control and spin. No arm problems, no string movement. Durability was also very good with 6.5 hours playing time.
Overall this is the perfect string for me. The price is quite high, but I'm still considering buying a reel. |

Very soft during stringing. Clamps leave marks when adjusted too tight. When tying off I noticed a subtle profile of this string, which however did not seem to have any effect during play.
Although I was not able to generate lots of spin with this blue string, it felt quite lively and controlled initially. Also the touch was decent, e.g. on drop shots. Comfort was evident. Almost no string movement.
But towards the end of the string's life I did not enjoy it any more. It lost its feel and felt dead, without power. I was actually happy when it broke.
For me the string lacked spin from the start, and touch was lost with increasing playing time. Durability was rather poor.
Only real strength of this string was ball control which was provided at any time.
Overall there were too many drawbacks for my game. I'd recommend this string only to high level players who are looking for control and who break strings quickly, so they don't get into the "dead" zone of the string. Otherwise not recommendable. |

No problems during stringing. Crosses should be pulled slowly due to the sharp profile. Strung in two pieces.
On the court I was surprised by the high power of this string. As long as the string's profile provided good grip on the ball, I was able to control the power. Without spin the balls went towards the fence (of the adjacent court). I also had brute power on my serve - balls rocketed into the opponent's court compared to my standard string, Kirschbaum Competition. For my taste, power is too high with this string. In order to gain better control, you'd have to string higher - negatively affecting comfort. Feel was also rather poor. Even at lower tensions the string felt stiff, as if one could feel the profile. You could compare it with wearing shoes that have an extremely thin sole - providing almost direct contact to the floor, but not dampening your step.
There was only little string movement towards the end of the string's life. Tension stability was very good. Durability was between 4.5 and 5.5 hours which is normal for me.
Best feature of this string is power, which however can only be controlled via extreme spin. No tension loss was recognized (by feel).
I would recommend this string to medium advanced players looking for power and spin. |

No problems during stringing. Little stretch.
Fantastic playability. Very soft feedback, yet solid feel. Perfect power level for my game due to the well balanced control. Absolutely no string movement, and very good durability (5.5 and 6.5 hours). Almost no notches after 3 hours of play. Another positive aspect is that the string maintains its characteristics for its entire life. Great spin on my kick serve, forehand topspin and backhand slice. Really amazing for a non-textured string!
This string does not have any weakness and provides a great overall package. I really liked the blend of power, control, spin and touch.
I'd recommend this string to anyone looking for a good all-around string, no matter which player level. |

To start off with the conclusion: Nice all around string that leaves nothing to be desired.
First shock: I did not see that the string length was written on the package: only 11.70 m. That was very clost towards the end on a 18x20 pattern and two piece stringing.
Very nice playing characteristics, and I did not feel any significant tension loss throughout the relatively long period (for me) of 2 weeks. Power was not extraordinary but sufficient. On the other hand I had great control which was further supported by the good spin potential. The string did not hurt my elbow.
Overall a great string without special features but without any weakness either (except for the short length, won't work for oversize frames). |

After switching to the Head Youtek Prestige MP these are the first reviews with this frame.
The WeissCannon Scorpion was already on the frame at the tension stated above.
The string provided very good control and good spin. I liked the balanced characteristics of the string. However the control really stood out. |

I enjoyed hitting with the Tornado. Very good power and control. Unfortunately its profile wore rather quickly so basically the Tornado turned into a Hyperion in some areas.
Feel on impact was good but not extraordinary.
Overall a nice blend of great characteristics. Even with the texture being worn, the Tornado 1.23 was quite thin, so spin potential was still there.
With increasing playing time, strings started to move. |

This string exceeded my expectations.
It played very nice from the beginning with incredible control yet good power. Spin was great, I did not have any problems with that. Nice feel on the volleys. Excellent tension stability, which was actually needed because the string lasted longer than any other poly I've played within the past 2 years (slightly more than 9 hours!). This is my new record for a poly and it makes me even happier.
Overall a great allround string with great playability.
The only downside is that you can't get it from Germany. The price however is very good compared to the top German brands.
This was THE surprise since a long time for me. |
