Easy to string. Strung in one piece on an electric Gamma machine.
Played 6 hours so far on carpet with my standard balls, Dunlop Fort Tournament.
IMHO the Gamma iO is an average poly that does not stick out in any department. |

Strung on a Signum Pro S-3000 drop weight machine in one piece. Typical multifilament behavior, the string stretched a lot. Otherwise no issues.
Played on clay with my standard Dunlop Fort Tournament balls in parallel with Genesis Thunder Blast 1.30.
Power was very good throughout the test period, however I lacked control. Feel was very good, very lively. Excellent touch on volleys and drop shots. Comfort was also great as expected from a multifilament. Also typical for a multifilament, spin potential was very low. The strings moved from the start.
Great string for players with sensitive arm or shoulder.

Played on clay court with my standard Dunlop Fort Tournament balls in parallel with Genesis Xplosion.
Power was very good throughout the test period. Great balance of power and control. Great feel, very lively. Also excellent touch on volleys and drop shots. Comfort was great as expected from a multifilament. Spin potential was adequate. After a few hours of play, the strings started to move, as typical for a multifilament.
Great string for players with sensitive arm or shoulder. |

Strung on a Signum Pro S-3000 drop weight machine in one piece. Typical stringing behavior for a multifilament. The string stretched a lot. No issues.
Played indoors at 8-16°C with my standard Dunlop Fort balls.
Power was excellent throughout the entire test period. I also had great precision in my shots, also on fast strokes. I had extremely good feel for the ball at any time. Very lively. Volleys and drop shots worked great too. Comfort was excellent all the time. The most comfortable string I've used so far. Spin potential was typical for a multifilament. There was only minimal string movement of the crosses.
Great string for players with arm problems. It's just important to string 1-2 kg higher than other multifilaments. Also highly suitable as a cross string in hybrids with WeissCannon Scorpion 1.22. |

Strung on a Signum Pro S-3000 drop weight machine in one piece. No issues during stringing.
Played indoors at 8-16°C with my standard Dunlop Fort balls for a total of 12 hours.

Comfort was also great until the end. Despite my sensitive arm this string did not cause me any problems. The string provided good grip on topspin and slice. There was no string movement at all. Cut out the strings after 12 hours of play. |

Strung in one piece on a Signum Pro S-3000. Easy to string, typical for a multifilament. The string stretched a lot, but significantly less than WeissCannon Explosiv! and 6StarString Supercharged.
Played indoors in winter with new Dunlop Trainer balls. 10 hours of singles and 2 hours of doubles so far.
The string provided very good power and control throughout the test. I had great precision in my shots, even on faster strokes. Great feel throughout the test, very lively. Excellent on volleys and drop shots. Great comfort until now. Absolutely no pain. Good spin potential on topspin and slice. No string movement so far. |

| Compared to the Tecnifibre X-One Biphase 1.24 which I played in parallel on the same model at the same tension, the X.Code 1.30 provides much better power, slightly better control and better spin. On the other hand, the X-One Biphase provides slightly better comfort and feel. Tension stability and durability were about the same. |

Strung in one piece on a Signum Pro S-3000. Very easy to string, typical for a multifilament.
Played indoors during winter with new Dunlop Trainer balls. 10 hours of singles and 4 hours of doubles so far.
The string felt quite stiff initially, but softened up after 1-2 hours. However you need to generate power and topspin yourself. Control was very good, but only slightly less than with X.Code 1.30. Feel was extremely good throughout the test. Very lively. Excellent also on volleys and drop shots. No pain at all. No string movement so far.
Great string, but I personally prefer the X.Code 1.30. |

Strung on a Signum Pro S-3000 drop weight stringer.
Played indoors at 16-18°C with my standard balls, Dunlop Fort Tournament. So far I've hit 10 hours of singles and 2 hours of doubles.
Power was good throughout this period. Control was also okay, also on hard strokes. Feel was very good at any time - very lively. Volleys and drop shots worked great. Comfort was very good too. I have a very sensitive arm but had no issues at all with this string. I had good grip on my topspin. No string movement so far.
The Solinco Revolution Hybrid feels quite similar to my standard hybrid WeissCannon Scorpion/Explosiv!. |

After switching from the Pure Drive Roddick GT to the Pure Storm Tour GT, here is my review of this string on the latter racquet.
Strung in one piece on a Signum Pro S-3000 drop weight machine. Very easy to string.
Played on clay at temperatures between 15 and 24°C during sunshine and rain with my standard balls, Dunlop Fort Tournament, in practice and matches.
The string provided great power throughout the test period as expected. Control was also very good at any time. Good balance of power and control. I had great precision in my shots, even on faster strokes. I always had nice lively feel. The string was also excellent on volleys and drop shots. Comfort was above average for a poly. The string provided good grip on topspin and slice. I also like the neon yellow color. Even after 15 hours of play there was no string movement.
Great string. Congrats to Yonex. Highly recommendable. My new standard string.
I will definitely test the Poly Tour Pro 130 too. |
