I used the string in the full stringbed, but since I didn't like it, I tried it in combination with Topspin Cyber Flash 1.25.
Comfort and power were okay, but it did not provide control nor feel and the tension dropped very quickly.
I would recommend this string only for recreational players looking for a cheap string. |

Overall I enjoyed the Sphere. I did not expect such a good durability from a multifilament at this price.
It also provided lots of power, good control, crisp feedback and good comfort.
However you need to have a good technique for creating spin, since the string does not support spin generation, which however might also be due to my dense string pattern (18x20).
Conclusion: Good alternative for players looking for an affordable multifilament. However I would recommend it only for open string patterns (16x19, 16x18) because otherwise it lacks spin potential. |

I used this string during the past summer season on my Wilson nBlade because it is a great value multifilament string.
Great power, control, comfort, durability, and feel, however it took 1-2 hours of breaking in before its characteristics came through. Spin and tension stability were acceptable and the tension was maintained quite well until it broke, but it felt dead towards the end.
Conclusion: Great string for string breakers who want to use a multifilament. The design is quite interesting (black-yellow), however the color bleached with increasing playing time. |

| Great string, I played it on my nBlade 98 back then and it played great. It's the favorite of many of my customers I string for. |

Basically the string played nice, however the playing characteristics got worse and worse over time. Before it breaks, it frays significantly, which is good on one hand because you can estimate when it will break, but on the other hand you tend to concentrate too much on the string's wear during a match. Durability is not so good, the other characteristics were solid, but there are much better strings for the price.
The Pro's Pro Sphere costs only a fraction of the price but plays quite similar, if not even better. |

| The string played quite nice, but it did not convince me since there are better strings for the price. |

Strung on a drop weight machine in two pieces. No problems during stringing, but you should not string too tight, there is a risk of breaking the string at this thin gauge.
Played indoors on carpet with Wilson Clay Tour balls.
The durability in this gauge is not that great. The string broke after 3.5 hours on a mishit near the top of the frame. Maybe I have strung too tight for this gauge. And I hit with lots of power.
Power was surprisingly good for a poly. Since my K Blade Tour does not provide much power by itself, this string provides a great compromise. I was also surprised that despite the high power the string provided good control. Feedback was nice and direct. However, like with almost all polys, the string lacked comfort, especially when you don't always hit clean.
The hexagonal shape of the string provided very good ball bite. Small (negative) side effect: After one match, the felt was almost completely worn off the balls.
Since the string broke already after 3.5 hours, I cannot say much about tension stability, but for the time it was in the racquet, the tension was maintained very well.
Conclusion: The string provides lots of spin and power while maintaining control. I would recommend it only for midsize frames with an 18x20 string pattern, otherwise the durability would be poor at this gauge. I bought a reel of the black version. Myself and my colleagues whom I string for are happy with this string. Definitely worth a test! |

| The MSV clearly wins in the feel, control, power, and spin departments. |
