I really liked the string and found it to have good control as well as spin. I used it with Gosen OG-Sheep Micro 17 at 60 lbs in the crosses.

Strung with Gosen OG-Sheep Micro 17 at 60 in the crosses. I found the spin and control to be exceptional. I was actually so impressed that I ordered a reel. I would not follow the 10% lower string tension suggested by the manufacturer, maybe 2 pounds lower.

Note that I only use Gosen OG-Sheep Micro 17 in the crosses with poly mains. I find it to be an excellent cross string to soften the string bed without causing a loss of control. It also provides a decent boost in power. I string it 3 pounds higher than the poly mains.

I know people love this string and it gets excellent ratings but I personally HATED it. My first set I tried at 55 and the control was awful compared to Luxilon Big Banger and other polys. And spin was worse than with Big Banger and not even remotely close to textured polys. I decided to up the tension to 60 for my second set and it played even worse. The first poly I've tried where I just had to cut it out because I couldn't tolerate it.

I found it to be much worse than Big Banger Alu Power 17. It felt mushy, uncontrollable, and not crisp at all.

Excellent string that has been the benchmark for other polys for some time. While it is still a solid string I feel that other companies are producing comparable strings for much lower prices, as well as textured strings that play similarly but provide better spin.

I'm not really sure why this string gets such great ratings. I was really excited to try it because of the great ratings combined with affordable price. I'm glad I only ordered 1 set because it definitely was not what I was looking for. It was easy to string though.

I found it to have less control than Big Banger Alu Power. WeissCannon Scorpion does play the same for a long period though.
