When starting the mains, I use a starting clamp inside the frame at the top to prevent the string from chafing when pulled. Seems to work.

My guess is you are damaging the cross strings when you pull through the "O" Ports. Do you use a boomerang? I installed chain links on my machine just for pulling through the large holes.

My best guess is the stringer had a kink in the string he did not notice. It has happened with me with that string and racquet. Pay better attention.

If it is the machine I am thinking of, it has the clamps mounted on a glide bar which I do not like. Find one with swinging clamps.

yelp, they will move. I always use a starting clamp to reduce the movement.

I string many hybrids with a soft syn gut in the mains and Signum Tornado in the crosses. My clients love it. It does not last as long but that gives me more frequent repeat business.

You may not need a new clamp. The Eagnas base has a set screw which can be tightened to adjust the lock. Use semi-permanent thread lock once you have it working properly.

It records the stringing spec per customer and then allow you to print a label on a Brother label machine. It saves time.

They just mean string the cross strings starting at the head and work towards the throat. Probably a women wrote the directions.

I use construction string, woven not twisted, similar to what brick masons use. Once it is loaded it does not stretch. ( it does but not for our purposes)
