The center loop is at the HEAD. If you're doing a 1piece, then make sure you notice the short side. The last mains will end at the HEAD, tie off the short side and begin the 1st cross with the long side. It's straight forward.
If you're stringing 2piece method (hybrid), then tie off the last mains at the HEAD, look for the "start cross" hole. This is the tie off hole for the cross.
IIRC... short side is on the LEFT (with the "P" up on the buttcap). Therefore, the "START CROSS" is on the right.
