Default Luxilon: ALU Power 16L OR Ace 18?

I currently have several different string set ups in my three POG mid racquets and after playing today I find that I like the two with Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power 16L mains (one w/Prince Syn Gut 16 crosses and one with Gosen JC 16 crosses) much better than the one with Kirschbaum Touch Turbo mains.

I've never had a chance to try the Luxilon Big Banger Ace 18g string.

Can someone give feedback on how these two strings {Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power 16L and Luxilon Big Banger Ace 18} compare to each other (especially in terms of feel/power/control/touch)?

I've heard that the Ace 18 has low durability and I'm afraid that might be a problem in my Prince Original Graphite Mid racquet with its 14x18 string pattern.
