Unhappy HEAD FXP Power 17 cracking

I started stringing my own rackets and wanted to know if other stringers have encounted cracking of the outer jacket on the Head FXP Power 17 tennis racket strings. Cracking is mostly on the outside gromet bends area.

Strings are strung on a Head Microgel Extreme 2009 racket at 59 pounds using a Gamma X-2 stringing machine. Racket is 6 months old and gromet holes are free from any obstructions that might break strings.

Is the cracking normal? First time using this string and advice on preventing further cracking is greatly appreciated? Thanks
