Exclamation Asian Grommets vs Western Grommets

Hello Everyone!

I am planning on getting grommet replacements. I want to clear a doubt. I am considering purchasing grommet replacements for my K Factor Tour 6.1 90 rackets and my BLX Pro.Staff Six.One 90, as I have found online and on various website (such as TW), that the grommets between the two rackets are interchangeable, this is true rite? As I have read that the K factor, BLX and ProStaff all have the same grommets.

Also, I was wondering since there are also asian versions of the K Factor and the ProStaff, would the grommets be same? I wouldn't think so, as I know that only the weights are different but the racket composition should be the same. But most of you know better. Need a response ASAP!

This is known as BLX1 Tour 90 or simply BLX Tour 90. 1st BLX

BLX(2) Tour 90 is:

and of course, you know what the K90 looks like.

String pattern/drilling are identical for all 3 frames.

K90 bumperset = BLX bumperset

BLX2 bumperset is different cosmetically AND in performance, IME.
BLX2 bumper has a shiny portion that runs angular. If you have the BLX2 90 then I'm sure you know what I'm trying to describe.

The BLX2 bumpers are weaker, breaks easier and feels more flimsy. I have had MANY customers simply take chunks out of the bumper from low volleys. The BLX1 or the K90 bumpers were much more robust and lasted longer. I install BLX1 bumperkits on BLX2 frames because they last longer and are more resilient.

So to answer your question, any one of the bumperset will fit all frames from K90 to the BLX2.

As far as Asian 90 frames go, they are the same so any of these bumper kits will work.

FYI, N90 and the PSTour90 both take the same bumperkit, which will NOT fit any of the latter generations due to the different drill spacing.

Hope this helps.
