Default String Durability/Choice

I could use some advice on string durability. I play at 4.0 using a Prince O3 Red strung at 62 lbs. I have been using NRG 16. I play about 5-6 hours per week and go through a set of strings in 3 weeks. Is this normal?

Are there good options for anything more durable? Thanks.

If you are a moderately hard hitter, that sounds like pretty decent durability although lighter hitters can keep these on for much longer. If you like the control and power of the NRG, you could stick with them but it really wouldn't hurt to try some of the other high end multifilament synthetic strings (Tecnifibre, Wilson, Kirschbaum, Iso-Speed, Gamma, Weiss Cannon have all sorts of good options). And maybe try some of the lower end ones as well. I string for some high school kids who swear by Prince Syn Gut w/ Duraflex, which is about $3.79 a set. Right now, I am really into Gosen Sheep Micro as a hybrid string and it is just as inexpensive.
