Default Reduce grip size from 4 1/2 to 4 3/8 on Wilson

Hi everyone, i need to reduce the grip size of my Wilson Blade 16x19 prostock, but, as we know, on a Wilson racquet it is a little difficult. If i use a Tourna Grip Thin (1,25mm), for you it is possible reduce the grip size of one measure? i'm using to use L3 grip with an overgrip, and actually the difference of the diameter is approximatively 1,5-2mm more than my habitual setup. Let me know!

You can shave the grip to the right thickness if you want. Is not that difficult.

Or try this thin leather grip

Or sent your frames to dieter Calle (Belgium), ringroll (Germany) or p1 (USA)
They can mold, change or customize a new grip on them if you like.

Thank you Nick. The idea for now is to reduce the grip size with One of these thin grips, and if i appreciate the racquet as it plays, i would consider to reduce the size as you suggest. This kimony seems too thin, and i don’t want too much vibrations in the arm. I asked get time ago on Facebook page of ringroll, they asked me 80€ included new buttcap, and because i don't know if the racquet suits well to me, for now seems too expensive imho

a quick, and cheap approach might be to remove the current grip and try one "thick" over grip (yonex ?) combined with a thin over grip (tourna ?)

Thank you marcoforehand, it could be an interesting idea, but i decide to shave the original L4 handle. for the right measurement i'll use the thickness of a retail Kblade 98 that i have home and are some years that i don't use, so i can remove grip and measure it with a caliber. Thank you guys!

I read that i have to paint with a marker the faces, so i can value the amount of material that i remove. I have a question: after i remove the grip, i noticed the handle is in a plastic material (i think is thermoplastic). I can shave it the same without make a disaster?

For as far I know they use hard Foam. This is possible to re size it by shaving it to the right measurements.

I suggest using a Kimony Techni Leather grip which is .8 mm thick and combine it with a thin overgrip. Kimony has thin overgrips as well and maintain their initial high quality for a reasonable time.
