Mutual Power Alpine 6000
Mutual Power Alpine 6000

Evaluations of the Mutual Power Alpine 6000:

Chad Sanders, March 24, 2005:

   Place of purchase: Mutual Power

   Date of purchase: 03/2005

   Warranty: 5 years

   Price: $460

   Equipment:

Spring tension, 6 point mounting, 2 glide bar clamps, upright machine

   Experiences:

Extremely satisfied! First off, Mr. Young is a pleasure to work with. The ordering process is smooth and I had the stringer in 4 days with a reasonable delivery charge. Setup was complete in 15 minutes.
The stringer is well made and solid. After stringing for several years on a two-point mounting system, I prefer using this 6 point mounting system. It is much more stable in securing the racquet. Seems to have all the features of higher-priced machine, including braking system which is proving to be important with the my Prince O3 raquets.
Back to customer service. I had a problem in understanding one function of the stringer (operator error). Mr. Young walked me through the sequence and was very understanding and patient throughout the process, even considering the problem was my foolishness. He always responded to email in a very timely fashion (usually within 30 minutes or less).
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the Alpine 6000 stringer and with the friendliness of the staff at mutualpower.net. This was a great purchase.

Tyler Kugler, August 14, 2006:

   Place of purchase: Mutual Power

   Date of purchase: 05/2006

   Warranty: 5 years

   Price: $469

   Equipment:

Crank tensioner, simple 6 point mounting, 2 glide bar clamps, upright machine

   Experiences:

Delivery took one week, 10 minute assembly, easy to follow user manual. Very simple and easy to use for a first time stringer. Clamps are easy and simple to use, sometimes clamps can be a little difficult, and slip a little on the first pull. I suggest a starting clamp. I just bought Prince Neos clamps to put on it. Mounting system works very well, and isn't too difficult to go around. Next time, I would stay with Mutual Power, fantastic customer service.
