Silent Partner e.Stringer DG
Silent Partner e.Stringer DG

Evaluations of the Silent Partner e.Stringer DG:

Ted, Sep 07, 2004:

   Place of purchase: www.sptennis.com

   Date of purchase: 2004

   Warranty: 5 years

   Price: $999

   Equipment:

Electronic 3 speed, constant pull w/pre-tensioner. 6 point mounting, floating clamps, upright. Settings for cross & main plus 10% increase for knots.

   Experiences:

A first class upright e-machine at a truly affordable price. Very easy to use & accurate. The pre-tension feature allows for consistent string job, time after time. Device has a few rough edges that could be buffed down, but nothing to cause concern. No cuts or scratches to report. So easy, my 14 year old is now stringing his own racquets.

Tony Tynes, Jan 21, 2006:

   Place of purchase: Silent Partner

   Date of purchase: 01/2006

   Warranty: 5 years

   Price: $999

   Equipment:

Electronic tensioner, 6 point mounting, fixed clamps, upright.

   Experiences:

I previously had a drop weight machine that I owned for 10 years. I recently decided to start a tennis business and I thought I needed a good machine. I decided on the Silent Partner eStringer DG from the review by the USRSA. I thought there would be a big learning curve when I started stringing. It actually took me less time the first time stringing with the DG than it took me with my old drop weight machine that I had strung hundreds of racquets with. This is a great machine so far. Very easy machine to operate.

Rick K., Jan 16, 2007:

   Place of purchase: Silent Partner

   Date of purchase: 01/2007

   Warranty: 5 years

   Price: $999

   Equipment:

Electronic constant pull tensioner, 6 point mounting, fixed clamps, upright

   Experiences:

Steven Ord at Silent Partner was very helpful and honest about all aspects of this stringer during the ordering process. It arrived in approximately 6 days as was predicted and was extremely easy to assemble utilizing the tools and owner's manual provided with the machine. I was taught to string on a Babolat Star 5 machine and was afraid that this machine would be a disappointment after getting used to Babolat's $3000 machine. On the contrary, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My DG is extremly heavy duty and is producing very consistent string jobs. I was surprised at how easy this machine is to string on and how professional grade the quality is at such an affordable price. The three important components of the stringer: the mounting system, clamping system and tensioner are excellent and the added bells and whistles such as the multi-pull speeds and multi-tension settings for knots, crosses and mains make this an even better bargain. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone seriously considering an electronic tensioning machine.

   Warranty: 5 years

   Price: $999

Parents bought this for me for Christmas 2006 after researching machines on this site. I'm 15 and have been stringing my racquets for a year now. Easy to learn and easy to use. I have recommended this to everyone I know!
