The Head Synthetic Gut PPS 16 is a reasonable synthetic gut. Its tension stability and durability are probably better than most synthetic guts I've played. The playability was similar to other synthetics, however, the playability remained consistent throughout the string's life, which was better than other brands I've played.

Overall, the Head Synthetic Gut PPS is very similar to Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex 16, except durability and tension stability were slightly better.

I have only ever used it as a cross-string so I am uncertain of its properties in a full bed.

Indoor hardcourt playing conditions. I like the string for its price and performance. It is soft and easy to string. Provides a lot of power and I like using it in a hybrid setup with a stiff poly. If you are looking for more power you can use it in both the mains and crosses. The strings tend to stretch and you lose tension as well. Good value for money.

Much more durable then the 18g gauge version which snaps extremely quickly. I think it plays a little bit better than Prince Synthetic Gut DF and the color variety is always a cool thing to be able to choose from. In every category the string comes up "decent", not great but nothing to really complain about except maybe the tension maintenance.
