No problems during stringing.
Played indoors on carpet with Dunlop Tournament balls.
Very solid string. I lacked some power, but that could be improved by stringing 2 lbs lower. The string provided good precision and feel. That should not be negatively affected by stringing at a lower tension.
Overall certainly a good string. I am curious how long it will last on clay.

Compared to WeissCannon Red Ghost, I should have strung the SPPP a bit softer. This way it had less power and spin, but otherwise nicer than the Red Ghost. From my point of view certainly just a matter of taste. I need to try it on clay court too to make a decision.

I have played with many polys over the years, and this may be the stiffest, worst feeling one ever. Control, feel, and durability were terrible. I only managed to get a little over one set before this string broke. I was so little impressed that I will not give this string another try.

Played indoors on carpet with Balls Unlimited Code Black balls.
The Poly Plasma provides good control and direct feel, but it did not wow me like the Gamma iO. It provides solid characteristics but does not excel in any department. Great value though.

No problems during stringing.
Played indoors at low temperatures.
This is an excellent poly with good allround characteristics. Only feel and touch could have been better. I was not happy with my drop shots with the SPPP.
In any case one should have tried this string.

Both strings have great overall characteristics, but lack touch and feel for me.

Stringing was easy with a drop weight machine. I have tested the string on clay playing singles and doubles with different balls. It is easy to like this string. The overall performance in all areas of the court has been very strong especially considering the relatively low price of the string. I like especially the very good balance of power and control. The string gives good support for my serves, baseline game and volleys. I found the string also quite comfortable. The only thing I do not like is the string movement which started after around 6 hours of playing and seems to increase all the time. Tension stability of the string is very good. My stringmeter showed a tension loss of around 2 kg after 11 hours of play. The strings do not show signs of breaking yet but they move quite much and need adjustment fairly often. This may become my standard string for the coming indoors season.

Fair direct comparison is little difficult because the string gauge is different. For heavy baseline hitting and drop shots I would choose the more durable and stable Black Code but for hitting winners and aggressive volleys I would choose the more powerful and thinner SPPP 1.18. Both are very good at serves. Price of SPPP is a lot cheaper. I have a reel of both strings and I plan to use both in the future also. I may also to try to hybrid them.
