Tested the black version.
No problems during stringing, little stretch.

I also strung this for several club mates. We all recognized and enjoyed the added power. The fact that you can also hit moderate and flat without any fear of hitting long is awesome. When you swing fast you get power. The tradeoff seems to be a slightly dull feel, but I didn't bother too much. I had good precision and sufficient spin. The string is not a spin monster but that does not have to be a disadvantage. Serves and returns are powerful. Good control on volleys. Slice is not as sharp as with profiled strings, but still sufficient to trouble the opponent. Drop shots worked consistently well. We did not have any arm problems. The 1.25 mm gauge provides good durability and tension stability.

This is my new favorite. Before I used the Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power Rough, which is around 10 times the price but I didn't really play better. The Intense Heat provides a great overall package with the focus on power.

If you are looking for increased power compared to the Alu Power, you should try the Pro's Pro Intense Heat 1.25.

Intense Heat is not a top poly string but at that price it is an excellent value. The Intense Heat provides a nice balance of power and control which is only second to significantly higher priced strings. Some of the top poly strings feel more lively and touchy, but the difference is not too big.

String is wire-like stiff when strung: must allow +1ft than usual on each, mains and crosses, because string doesn't stretch on the machine. Still easy to weave & knot. Has form memory, which is about the only thing I dislike to it, but on the other hand keeps knots firm. When string's end is heavily stressed, does start to split, kinda Saputo cheese, but in spiral. String looks like a mono-filament, but seems to be a waved multi, thermally (maybe) cemented. Nano-treated surface makes it consistently (very) slippery, incomparable to the silicon coating.

On the court, string stretched during the 1st hour of play, and started to behave like a multi (which I believe it really is)! Feels like a multi, but durable like a mono. Very soft and dampening (kinda viscous), must have been co-polymerized with lot of polyethylene. IMO this 17G poly should be strung in the same range of tensions as if it was a 16G syn.gut.

Played it @ 10°C (50F) with almost frozen balls, and behaved like in the middle of the summer! Excellent string for cold weather (despite its name).

Can't imagine a better string for crosses: its viscous softness allows the perfect pocket, and its slippery surface generate lot of spin, while preserving mains life. Meanwhile, don't like it on mains (too viscous). Love it hybridized with some abrasive gut: Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex or Gosen Hy-Sheep, with just an increase of the difference in tensions between mains and crosses to an additional 1 lb (ex: where normally I'd strung crosses @ -2 lb, with this poly I'll go for -3 lb).

Played on clay court with Dunlop Fort Tournament balls.
The string lasted approx. 6 hours of singles play.
Playability is quite good - decent power, acceptable control, quite good touch. Spin, however, needs to come from your technique. But that's not an issue for me.
Durability is not so gut, but if you consider the price for a reel, it is awesome IMHO.
