Hey guys,
I am going to make it quick on this review and only report on characteristics I have a wholly different opinion than other reviewers.
Strung on Head Youtek IG Prestige MP - 4 knots - 51/51 lbs. Not by myself.
Durability: Excellent. 10 hours and still no notching. Feels like within the first hour.
Power: I have to disagree with many reviewers on the power aspect. It is the most low powered string in 1.25 I have tested. Even for me, being a fan of low powered strings and rackets it is pretty low.
Control: Control is also excellent. Nice control of depth.
Touch: Touch is not that good. The rigid and inflexible string bed does not allow the touchiest kind of shots.
Comfort: I don't have any problems with that. I think it's even more comfortable than the "modern" RPM Blast.
Spin: It is ok but far from exceptional.
Tension maintenance: The tension maintenance seems excellent. As mentioned it plays identically to the first hour. No computerized data.

Wrap-up: I am mostly satisfied. I don't know how much sense it would make to lower the tension to get more power out of this string. Better try a higher powered string.
Maybe some time in the future I will give it a go with a lower tension. It is hard to bear with the missing touch!

Plays very nice, especially when freshly strung. Great spin for a round poly. Very good control even when strung at a low tension.

I'm still trying this string. But I'm having enormous dificulty to understand the amount of power or the type of swing I have to do in order to keep the ball inside the court. I couldn't serve inside the square in my first attempts! The ball had its own desire, and always landed behind the lines... I had better luck after 3 hours, now I know how to serve. It looks I must do the right swing and put lots of spin. The string looks to me really explosive.

I used Luxilon Alu Power Rough about a year ago and had been using it for about a year. It can tend to be on the pricier side of strings, but I think that relates to Luxilon strings in general. I've read that almost all the top pros, such as Federer, Djokovic, and Tsonga use it (which they all hyrbid with gut). This string performs at the top of the line compared to most strings, but loses tension fast. So pros who change their rackets every 5 games or so, don't really see the tension loss. For someone who has the big bucks and is willing to spend their money on strings and restring frequently, this string is perfect. Otherwise, I would not recommend this string.

Luxillon Alu Power Rough is definitely a lot different than Solinco Tour Bite. Tour Bite is crispy, stiff, super spinny, and precise with control. Luxilon is way more arm-friendly and a better all around string. I think the main differences are that Luxilon is more comfortable, has more power, and loses tension a little bit faster.
