Strung at 25/24 on an electronic constant pull machine.
Right after stringing DT value was 36 and 24 hours later it had dropped to 34.

I'm referring to my review dated 2008-02-24 but this time the string was tested in a Völkl Tour 10 MP Gen I.

Power: Lots of power from the beginning. True Grip 1.26 offers more power than Oehms Co-Poly Gen III White 1.28.
Control: The string is gripping the ball very well and seems to offer a longer dwell time. After the string lost some tension (7-8 hours of play), the string bed became a bit springy and flat shots were a bit more difficult to control.
Feel: True Grip offers good touch and feel. Easy to control volleys.
Comfort: Very comfortable for a co-poly.
Spin: Spin and especially slice are easy to generate.
Tension stability: Strings started to move a bit after 7-8 hours of hitting. True Grip seems to lose its tension a bit faster compared to Oehms Co-Poly Gen III White 1.28. After 10 hours tension loss was ~19 %.
Durability: No issues at all. The string still feels lively after 10 hours of hitting.

Conclusion:
Very well balanced string with a lot of power together with great control, and for this type of string, good touch and feel.

Direct comparison to the Oehms Black Pearl:

After having played the lower priced Black Pearl and being really happy with it, I had similar expectations on the True Grip, but I was disappointed.

Stringing was no problem, but already after the first few strokes I found out that this string is not for me. My shots were significantly shorter than with the Black Pearl and I lacked control. In order to get the balls towards the baseline I had to put lots of power in my strokes, which on the other hand caused my shots to scatter all around the place. That was much better with the Black Pearl. Similar problem with the serves. I could not get used to the string even after 5 hours of play. No problems on the backhand and on the volleys though.
To make sure, I strung the same racquet with the True Grip again at the same tension, and I had the same problems. Finally after 7 hours of hitting with the True Grip I switched back to the Black Pearl... and the difference was instantly clear!

So the lower price and the better performance are clear arguments for the Black Pearl!

53/53 lbs Pro Supex Nano Energy (MP, 16/18)
Absolute Rating Durability Power Control Feel Comfort Spin Tension Stability
 (>10 hrs.)
Strung in one piece (ATW) on an electronic constant pull machine.
Stringing (weaving the crosses) was a bit more difficult and reminded me of the Toalson Cyber Spin, another rough string which wasn't easy to weave either. Seems to be a soft and elastic co-poly but slightly thinner as indicated, more like 1.22 or 1.23 when strung. Right after stringing DT value was 37 and 24 hours later it dropped to 35.

Power:
Lots of power from the beginning. True Grip 1.26 offers more power than Oehms Co-Poly Gen III White 1.28 and reminded me of Pro Supex Big Ace 1.22.
Control:
The string is gripping the ball very well and seems to offer a longer dwell time. After the string lost some tension (7-8 hours of playing), the string bed became a bit springy and flat shots were a bit more difficult to control. Have to string a little higher next time to tame the power.
Feel:
True Grip offers good touch & feel. Easy to control volleys.
Comfort:
Not as soft as Pro's Pro Red Devil 1.24 but still comfortable for a co-poly.
Spin:
Spin and slice are easy to generate. Kick serves are really going strong.
Tension stability:
Strings started to move a bit after 6 hours of hitting. True Grip seems to lose its tension a bit faster compared to Oehms Co-Poly Gen III White 1.28. After 10 hours tension loss was approx. 19%. In a racket with 16x18 string pattern this is still a very good result.
Durability:
No issues at all. The string still feels lively after 10 hours of hitting.

Conclusion:
Very well balanced string with a lot of power together with great control, and for this type of string, good touch and feel.
