The best overall poly on the market right now. Very good spin and control. Best poly when it comes to feel. Tremendous tension stability and comfort for a shaped poly. Almost my string of choice.

Compared to my current favorite poly, Black Code has better feel, and will probably have way better durability (once I finish play testing Ace I will know for sure), but, being a non-string breaker, I prefer the added spin, power and comfort Ace gives me.

As a side comparison to a hybrid of Black Code mains and X-One Biphase 17 crosses, I would say the hybrid gives better feel and way better power, but worse control and durability. I felt spin, comfort and tension stabilty were the same.

I could not continue hitting with this string because after 2 hours I had strong pain in my elbow. Maybe the thinner version works better, which I will test soon.

Played indoors on clay with Head ATP balls.
Equal (main/cross) tension and DNX frame does not work together! I made a huge mistake by equalizing the tension of the crosses with the mains in order to compensate the expected loss. Much later I read that for these specific (DNX at 3 & 9 o'clock) frames, it is recommended to drop the tension of the crosses at least 2.5 to 3 lbs. I have learned that lesson the hard way!

Despite the lack of power and comfort in the first hours of play, the string provides very good control and lots of spin. Later, after 10-12 hours of play, after some tension loss, the string is much more comfortable and powerful. During all that time the smashes and volleys were precise.

Very good string (let aside that I made a mistake) and I will use it again with a proper tension setup.

I used it on Babolat Pure Drive Cortex.
Very good string. I love the topspin I get compared to Babolat Pro Hurricane and XCel. It has a longer life than XCel, and the strings don't move that much. I got a good feel, and overall, for their price are best buy.

I played with Tecnifibre Black Code 17 for over a year. This is a soft arm friendly string. One of the areas I particularly liked with this string was on serves. I felt that it was easy to generate power and spin. On volleys I found it easy to place my shots where I wanted them to go. Also I was easily able to generate spin through groundstrokes on the baseline. It is hard to rate durability because it depends on the person using the strings. For me the durability was average.
