No problems during stringing.
Took me approx. 1 hour to get used to this string. It provides good spin and good comfort without being springy. Spin, slice, volleys worked quite well. Power was there but it was rather moderate, especially when hitting slightly off-center.
If you are looking for a controlled game with nice feel and decent spin, the Helix should be a good choice for you.

When switching from the Luxilon Alu Power 1.25 to the Kirschbaum Helix 1.25 (both strung at 55 lbs), the first thing I noticed was the much lower power. On the other hand, feel was more comfortable and spin was better.

Strung on an electronic Gamma machine. String showed minimal stretch. Surface is slightly rough but still easy to weave. No issues stringing.
Played indoors on carpet with Dunlop Fort Tournament and Balls Unlimited Code Black balls.

I had tried this string a few years back but now my impression is a bit different.

The Helix provides very nice playing characteristics. Kirschbaum's statement about "extra power and special touch" is mainly true. Power is above average and touch is quite soft, yet the feedback is crisp. Comfort was above average for a poly. Control was okay despite the high level of power. Spin was also good; the profile did not seem to have an effect on spin. Tension maintenance was average or slightly above. Only towards the end of its life the string started to scatter the balls. Durability is not particularly good, at best it is average.

Conclusion: Very nice playing poly. Not as demanding as other polys. Even players with sensitive arms could give it a try as it is quite soft. Still it feels somewhat crisp, so this is an interesting combination.

No problems during stringing, you just need to take a bit more time due to the texture.
Played on clay court with Wilson Tour and Head ATP balls.
As mentioned in my WeissCannon Turbotwist 1.24 review, I played the Kirschbaum Helix in parallel and also compared it with Helix 1.20.
The Helix 1.25 is a bit stiffer than the Turbotwist 1.24, so it provides better control and spin. Touch is less compared to the other two strings, but not significantly. With the increased spin potential, angle shots worked better and more consistent than e.g. with Turbotwist 1.24.
Although the Helix 1.25 is a top class string too, I will stick with my favorite Helix 1.20, which is a bit more lively and lasts me 3-3.5 hours. The small difference in durability does not compensate the better playability I have with the Helix 1.20.
