I had this strung at the lowest initial tension I have yet tried - 20 kg, 44 lbs. At that tension with most strings one would expect severe trampoline effect and a loss of control. On the contrary, this string's response is so muted that even at that low tension control was excellent - one of the best I have experienced. OTOH power was low, even at that tension. Spin was excellent, almost up there with Hyper-G. Yonex could have justifiably named this string Poly Tour Control, but these days it would not catch as much interest as Poly Tour Spin, which is also befitting. Just don't expect much power.

Played indoors on carpet with Dunlop Fort balls at 15-17°C (only doubles).
Strung on a Gamma drop weight machine in two pieces without problems, crosses were easy to weave.
Power, control and spin were average for me. I did not recognize an improvement in spin. The string feels a bit stiff on impact, and my serves don't work so well.
Durability seems to be equal to Poly Tour Pro. So far (after 6 hours of play) there is almost no string movement. The profile wore a bit round in the sweetspot.
Overall I'm undecided. I think the Yonex Poly Tour Pro still provides the better package. I might try the Poly Tour Spin in a hybrid with a multifilament cross string in order to improve feel.

There is no big difference between those strings for me, except that the Poly Tour Pro is more comfortable.

Very solid string with great value and performance even in soggy astroturf and cold conditions here in the UK.

Babolat RPM Blast
Durability Power Control Feel Comfort Spin Tension Stability
Compared to RPM Blast 17 this certainly feels more harsh. However, it has kept tension much better from what I have had from it so far and it also gives a much more connected feel on the ball. Off-center hits felt a little more punishing but when you meet the ball correctly there are no issues.

Very easy to string. Good spin potential. The profile is not worn even after 20 hours of play. That's when it starts to lose its tension.
Overall good spin, control, and feel at an affordable price.
