Strung at 24/24 kg, came out at 37 DT. Played outdoors.
I'm on a search for a comfortable spin string. After trying the Wilson Sensation which is really soft but lacks control, I tried the Rip Control. You can feel the coating, it feels a bit stiff. Meanwhile I believe that my arm problems came from the technique only. When I take full swings I get very good control and spin, without any arm pain, although you definitely feel the crispness.

Played in spring, some wind, some rain, some sunshine on an outdoor hard court. If you're looking for a durable all round string suited more for serve and volley, or have flatter strokes, this is a very good string.
Although it is a string I won't buy again (as I do prefer the 1.20mm version) I will keep them in the racquet until they give.

The 1.30mm compared to the thinner 1.20mm is a more durable string that in my opinion doesn't have enough trade off to make it worth buying over its thinner version. The loss in control and spin (power wasn't much of a problem for me) isn't worth the extra hitting time you'd get. Head RIP Control is a pretty durable string for me as I do tend to change string after a month or two anyhow; the Head RIP Control 1.20mm a string I will be buying agan, but not the 1.30mm.
