Gamma iO and Head Lynx were easier to string because the Yonex kinks more easily and has more friction when pulling the crosses. But that's really just minor drawbacks, overall stringing is good. In turn, the rough surface provides better spin potential than the aforementioned strings.

I previously played the Gamma iO 1.18 and Head Lynx 1.20. The Lynx is more powerful but not as spin friendly when compared to the Yonex. The Yonex is a bit more powerful when compared to the Gamma.
The Yonex is a very well balanced string to which I switched back recently due to my sensitive wrist.

Finally a poly that I can play without getting arm problems. This is the main argument. I used to play multifilaments previously. Additionally, it provides very good characteristics: spin, control and durability are all good!

I bought a reel of this string, and this is the best invested money for seven years how long I play tennis. Comfortable, with the right mix of power and control, and it keeps the tension very well. I found very little string movement in longer exchanges. For sure one of the best string on the market today, even for players who play with a lot of spin and slice. Great job Yonex!

Only durability suffers compared to the 1.25mm, everything else is similar if not better at 1.20mm.

Played the yellow version. Great allround string with very good comfort for a co-poly. Feel is not particularly lively - rather dull, but still a nice touch. I really liked the blend of power and control. Especially on long, fast swings the precision was evident. The great overall performance is complemented by the string's very good spin potential. Great string!

Comparison relates to Head Lynx 1.20 (yellow). The YPTP has a bit less power, but that is not necessarily negative. With the YPTP, I liked the combination of the slightly lower power and very good control. The Lynx feels a bit softer and provides a finer touch. Spin potential was about equal.
