I bought a reel of this string, and this is the best invested money for seven years how long I play tennis. Comfortable, with the right mix of power and control, and it keeps the tension very well. I found very little string movement in longer exchanges. For sure one of the best string on the market today, even for players who play with a lot of spin and slice. Great job Yonex!

Played the yellow version. Great allround string with very good comfort for a co-poly. Feel is not particularly lively - rather dull, but still a nice touch. I really liked the blend of power and control. Especially on long, fast swings the precision was evident. The great overall performance is complemented by the string's very good spin potential. Great string!

Comparison relates to Head Lynx 1.20 (yellow). The YPTP has a bit less power, but that is not necessarily negative. With the YPTP, I liked the combination of the slightly lower power and very good control. The Lynx feels a bit softer and provides a finer touch. Spin potential was about equal.

Normal stringing behavior.
Played indoors on carpet with Dunlop Tournament balls. Due to indoors play, no rating of the durability.

Overall the string performed okay.
The string did provide power - I just couldn't tell when. Sometimes clean hits with a big swing did not go deep. And sometimes, slow hits went longer than I wanted to. I think this was due to the amount of spin I wanted to apply. I guess this string is rather suitable for flat hitters.
Other strings provided me with better control, power and feel. Maybe the string would have taken more time but during my test I always wanted to go back to SPPP or WeissCannon Red Ghost. Although the Red Ghost scatters more, my game worked better with it.

Overall I liked the SPPP better as it provided better power while maintaining control, and that is more important to me than comfort and durability which were better with the Yonex.

Stringing was easy because the string is relatively soft. I could have played more than 10 hours with this string but wanted to make a new string job to test my new machine. After stringing the DT value dropped from 32 to 28 during 10 hours of playing.

This comparison is to SPPP 1.18. I find Yonex to be more comfortable for the arm. On the other hand SPPP has better power production. Playability of both strings is very good. I play currently with Yonex because I had some arm problems with harder polys.

Very easy to string, rather little stretch, so stringbed comes off the stringer rather stiff. I'd recommend to decrease the tension since the string has good tension maintenance too.

The strings don't move and maintain their characteristics for a rather long time.

The touch is very unique, rather dull and very comfortable for a poly.

Due to the positive characteristics and the low price, this is my new favorite.
