Strung on a Tecnifibre TF 60 in two pieces. Behaved like other shaped polys too, crosses were very hard to weave.

Played at indoors on carpet around 17°C in very dry conditions with Dunlop Fort Tournament balls.

First of all many thanks to WeissCannon for the sample! I strung this on a Head Radical Pro. The sharp edges were evident during stringing. It also felt a bit stiff.
The Ultra Cable provides low power but lots of control, but the characteristic that stands out is spin. The string really bites the ball. After some time the balls look pretty bad. There is no string movement and no notching.

The string is very durable so even string breakers will have trouble breaking this string.
Power is good but not too high, very well balanced with control.
The string feels really crisp, especially when freshly strung.
Spin potential is good but you can also hit flat.

Make sure to stick to the recommendation to string lower, otherwise you will lack power and feel.

Recommendable for hard hitting baseline players.

Strung 2 lbs lower than usual according to the recommendation on the package. As I did not string myself I cannot comment on the stringing behavior.
Played indoors on carpet in four extensive sessions.

The string provided a very good overall performance.

What stood out were spin, its moderate power (just right for me), and control. I was able to hit many winners and had great confidence. I was also very happy with tension maintenance.

Touch could have been better (hitting drop shots was a challenge) and sometimes the huge spin potential was negatively affecting depth control. But that was only a minor drawback.

I can't comment on comfort at the moment as I got arm pain already before trying this string. The pain got worse during the test, but I can't tell what portion of that was due to the Ultra Cable. I think that players with no sensitive arm should not have any problems with this string.

Conclusion: Very good string. Will try it again after getting rid of the soreness in my arm, probably 2-4 lbs less. I can imagine that it would perform even better on clay court than on carpet.

Thanks to WeissCannon for the sample!

UK outdoor hard courts.
I like low powered strings & this is low powered. The strings lasted 7 months, approx. 4 hours per week of decent mens doubles & a couple of league matches. It's a very good spin string to the point of being exceptional. The spin does come at a cost in terms of touch as they are pretty stiff. Overall a very good string that NEVER notches & hardly stretched after the first month, making it very good value. I'd recommend it to players who already hit loads of spin & want MORE ;-)

My thanks go to Mr Weiss for the free samples.

Strung in the mains with a multifilament cross string. For direct comparison I strung Blue Rock'n Power on the identical frame with the same cross string at the same tension.
Overall I liked the string. Easy to string. Power is rather low, control is excellent, and feel is also good for this thick string. Comfort could have been better, it feels quite stiff.

Comparison relates to Blue Rock'n Power.
Compared to the Blue Rock'n Power, I liked the Ultra Cable better, as it provided a bit better feedback and feel. Spin is a bit more evident with the Blue Rock'n Power, but the difference is very small on my frame. Comfort is not the highlght of any of the two strings. That's why I can only play them in hybrids.
For the upcoming clay court season I think that the Ultra Cable will shine even more with its characteristics.

Strung on a drop weight machine in one piece. The string feels stiff during stringing and you can feel the sharp edges. Compared to the previous test I went down with the tension to 20/21 kg.
Played indoors with Head ATP balls.
Due to the lower tension I had significantly higher power. Comfort was improved as well. Spin was easy to generate, probably due to the sharp edges and very smooth surface.
Durability was good and the edges stayed sharp for a long time. Playing characteristics changed only minimally over time.
Overall a very good string which is worth a test.
