Tested this string on my Yonex DR 98 and have played little over 12 hours in full bed and hybrid. I like it. First of all, the squared shape is very dramatic. I have never seen a string shaped like this before. Felt thicker than the specified dimensions.

It's powerful for a poly. As expected, the spin potential is fantastic. It also plays soft but has enough "crisp" feel to have a decent connection with the ball. Control was good, but not outstanding. I noticed that the aggressive shape is detrimental when warming up soft, hitting touch shots, or for players that don't take a full cut at the ball or have slow racquet head speeds. This is because the edges will cause the ball to shoot at unexpected angles sometimes when swinging slow. This problem is solved by swinging faster and brushing the ball better.

I sometimes struggle with soft strings, but I was able to feel my shots well with UC. I liked the extra power, which is appreciated in modern tennis. Control was OK, taking everything into account. It did not feel very explosive though, which is a characteristic that some modern soft strings are beginning to develop. I also liked it on serves. I felt that my kick serve was more aggressive than normal.

I would suggest developing a thinner gauge. Overall, I liked the string in full bed and as a hybrid with Gosen OG-Sheep Micro 17g crosses. It did not break the Gosen in more than 6 hours of play with this specific setup.

Thanks again for a quality string, Mr. Weiss! Now make it as 17g.

My current string of choice is Solinco Hyper-G 16L. I must say that Weiss UC felt fairly similar, with more power, softer feel, slightly better spin, slightly less control and less crisp feel. It's almost a tie. I still feel more confident with Hyper G due to the extra control, but time will tell if UC and its power can convince me to switch.

Very little stretch during stringing. Knots are a bit difficult to tie due to the stiffness of the string.
Played indoors on carpet (practice) and clay (competition).
The string provides great spin potential due to the square shape and smooth surface, and power is very high. Slice (serves) and topspin strokes work very well. Control is achieved via spin. For touch shots you need to take some time to get used to the string I guess.
Could be interesting as a main string in a hybrid setup IMHO.

Very good poly. Liked it a lot. Good spin potential and good power level. Seems stiffer than other co-polys during stringing, but on the court it felt nice. I strung 1 kg lower than usual, which was okay.
Will also try it in a hybrid with a multifilament to see if I can increase touch even further.
